Benchmark Wine Group is searching for an outstanding wine professional to be a Marketing Coordinator - Copywriter.

We seek a self-motivated, dynamic, and responsible marketing professional to join the elite team at Benchmark Wine Group. Two years of marketing or related experience is required, and within the wine industry is preferred. Copywriting skills are more than a plus – we are seeking a budding Hemingway – not just comfortable with tight deadlines but creatively energized by them. Writing samples are required, so bring us your best.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Create and prepare content for Company websites, and daily email marketing campaigns while ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to throughout all company materials
•  Maintain and consistently refresh front-end website design features utilizing HTML & CSS
•  Manage front-end website including new and existing promotional banners and develop website pages as needed with management approval
•  Establish metrics for marketing/branding efforts and measure outcomes to report on impact
•  Be a backup for planning, designing, editing and executing daily email campaigns; ensure offer timelines are met
•  Prepare and maintain reports on MailChimp, Sales Force, etc. to support the Marketing Team
•  Visualize and execute conceptual ideas within set guidelines i.e. Wine Club page, Buy/ Sell page.
•  Develop and maintain content including product pages, product categories, and featured items
•  Take a proactive role in furthering and evolving the company brand and creative content
•  Filter and extract wine data from Excel to MailChimp
•  Using company brand guidelines create and maintain a catalog of collateral to support current and future marketing needs for all companies
•  Assist with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) management and enhance SEO
•  Communicate when needed to the Development Team
•  Photograph bottles for Marketing and website as needed
•  Assist in brainstorming of concepts for upcoming projects
•  Responsible for input regarding department procedures
•  Other activities that we may define together to support the Marketing team as necessary

Skills and Qualifications:
•  High School diploma or general education degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two years or more in related experience, wine industry preferred.
•  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most complex documents including HTML and CSS documents. Ability to make effective presentations to management.
•  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
•  Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and type. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. •  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
•  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
