Dunn Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery founded by Randy and Lori Dunn on Howell Mountain in 1979, now in its third generation of the Dunn family. The winery produces a Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon bottling and has an AP with Retro Cellars, Mike and Kara Dunn’s second-generation label making Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, rosé, and Syrah. We are hiring a harvest intern to work with co-proprietor Mike Dunn, winemaker Ted Kizor, and our farmer, Alex Dunn to produce wines of quality and honesty.

The internship will begin in late August and end before Thanksgiving. This is the first time in many years an intern has been brought on for our approximately 100T harvest. Candidates must be willing to work early hours, be diligent in cleaning, intellectually curious, able to lift 50 pounds, speak fluent English, and have fun working hard. Tasks will include cleaning and prepping tanks and equipment, sampling, crush, dig-outs, pressing, inoculations, additions, and barrel work (on stillage - fun!). We are a small team and excited for the right person to be a part of it!

We are able to offer housing and lunch during workdays. Compensation is $21-24, DOE.
