Since our first vintage in 2017, Siboney Cellars has been building our ambition, prowess and capacity into a very exciting project, focusing on small batch, hand crafted Texas wines. Siboney (see-bow-nay) is a family owned, award winning winery and vineyard committed to advancing the overall Texas Wine movement.

Siboney’s Mission is to produce the highest quality wines form the Texas Hill Country and High Plains AVAs. We are dedicated to crafting premier, hand crafted 100% Texas wines, and creating a fun, inviting and engaging atmosphere – aesthetics and ambiance – architecture, view, courtyards – welcoming visitors and club members. We will share our collective journey through wine and our unique experiences, and the story behind the name Siboney. Our mission is to extend the ultimate in hospitality, friendly wine education, visitor and member interaction in the winery and high-end tasting experiences.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated cook for our growing culinary program. Experience is preferred, but we will be happy to train a detail oriented individual with a desire to work hard, learn fast, and enjoy life.

General Duties include, but are not limited to:

Essential Functions:
•  Ability to work closely with and support the Culinary Team in every aspect of our culinary program.
•  Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our wines and how they pair with food and produce from our estate gardens.
•  Strong ability to share our story and our wines through in-person, interactive tastings and other consumer-facing events and experiences.
•  Ability to understand and comply with our culinary standards relating to food quality and safety.
•  Be an exceptional team member who is willing to support all culinary and hospitality needs.

Job Requirements:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and portion sizes
- Assist with food plating and presentation
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering questions
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Support banquet events by setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, and equipment
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and management

Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and food safety guidelines is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers

Job Type: Full-time
Must be able to work weekends, and Monday and Thursday
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
