About Us:
Join the Kiani Preserve team for an exceptional opportunity during the 2024 harvest season. We are a dedicated winery focusing on the highest standards of winemaking, exclusively from our organically farmed estate vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Responsibilities:
As a Harvest Intern, you will work closely with our skilled winemaking team, participating in various aspects of the harvest process, including but not limited to:
-Performing pumpovers and punchdowns
-Assisting with fruit processing operations
-Ensuring meticulous cleaning and sanitization
-Supporting vineyard operations as needed, based on the season
We are looking for individuals who possess:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-A safety-conscious approach to work
-Reliability and self-motivation
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
-Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Valid work permit in the US
Working Conditions:
Harvest days can be demanding, requiring long hours and physical stamina. You should anticipate working 5-6 days per week, with overtime compensated at California's standard rate.
Transportation and Accommodations:
Applicants must have reliable transportation. While we do not provide transportation or housing, we are happy to assist in finding suitable accommodations if needed.

Start: End of August 2024
End: November/December 2024, depending on the harvest
